Arnie Tyler – Head Throwing Coach; Eisenhower High School

“The BASTrainer has created an excitement in our high school throwers that is spreading by word of mouth. They found a way to use their legs, hip, and shoulder that makes sense and allows them to improve their throwing technique. In 48 years of coaching and listening to quality coaches and athletes discuss the use of the thrower’s legs, hip and shoulder during a throw, I have never found a way to train the timing of the nervous system through these regions. Used properly, the BASTrainer does just that. Thanks for your devotion to throwers and their training methods. ”

“All our javelin throwers use the BASTrainer. It has been a great tool for to use in training. It has helped cut down on over-use injuries of the shoulder while still allowing us to use any length of approach as we work on the technique of the javelin throw.”

“The BASTrainer is a great teaching tool – it challenges advanced athletes and beginners alike. The immediate feedback from planting incorrectly is great. The athlete learns to self-correct problems which makes the learning process faster. Super new tool for javelin!!
